4. jaanuar – mu naeratus / January 4 – my smile

Interesting enough, during this time of my life, there are two things starting with a ‘s’ that make me s-mile.

First there’s Simona, my niece. Of course she’s the cutest darling the world has ever seen. She is 2 years and 7 months old and whenever I meet her, she has some witty remarks or just genuinly looks adorable yet smart. When I left home on Sunday she did not see me to say goodbye and thus called me (with a little help from my Mum or Mummi as we like to call her) to find out “Pierrot, where’d you go?!?” Looks like show “Burattino” (Pinocchio) we watched got to her and I am happy because I was so addicted to it (I was 15, she is 2 :P). Now she is Artemon (Buratino’s dog), my dad is Buratino, Mummi‘s Malvina and I Pierrot.

Another thing that makes me smile is skiing. I got my new skis and everything (courtesy of my brother, thank you!) and so far have been out on two nights – not as much I have wanted, but the winter strecthes long ahead of us and there’s plenty of snow (another smile-worthy thing in this world).

I have decided to add Daily Facts on each post so I could remember what I did later on.

On January 4:
best thing: writing back to Rachael, my old colleague and boss from Scotland.
worst thing: messing up my exam paper in theatre history.
food: spicy chicken and avocado creme in a crepe
music:
back to last Spring – listening to NolensVolens after a long time
book: reading “My Finland“, a travel book of sorts
knowledge: that one can buy chick-peas in Viljandi, where I live. Hummus, here I come :)

Praegu on kaks vahvust, mis mulle kindlalt naeratuse näole toovad. Kahjuks eestikeelsena algab naeratus n’iga, muidu kõlaksid nad samamoodi kokku kui inglise keeles, sest algavad s’iga (smile).

Simona. Minu vennatütar. Ta on üks igati vahva, kullakallis piiga! Mõnikord ka konn. Või väike lammas. Praegu on vist Buratino kutsu.

kehvim hetk: teatriajaloo eksamil veits puusse panemine
söök: vürtsika kana ja avokaadokreemiga pannkook
muusika:
tagasi eelmises kevades ehk kuulan üle pika aja NolensVolensit
raamat: loen “Minu Soomet”
teadmine: et Viljandist saab osta kikerherneid. Hummus, siit ma tulen!
